Bigfoot or Big Ape?

It may be walking upright, but this gorilla still looks like a gorilla to me.

So I guess gorillas can learn to walk upright.  But even though he's walking upright, he still doesn't look anymore like a bigfoot than a three legged bear does.  He doesn't even look very tall.  I doubt anyone would mistake him for a bigfoot, at least not up close.

  1. This is pretty cool! It shows that they can adapt in accordance to their situation.

  2. You make a good point. They did a documentary one time about a chimp that walked upright and looked very weird, as if he were part human. Some people speculated about him. Still, he was just a trained chimp who had lived his life having to walk upright. Even if you put a gorilla on his legs and have him walk with a confident stride, his entire body composition looks all wrong for a bigfoot. It would be like saying Kirstie Alley and Kelly Ripa were the same woman just because they walk on their legs, even from a distance, they're quite different with obviously different proportions.
