DNA links mysterious Yeti to ancient polar bear -- What's interesting here is the scientists isn't saying the hair samples the DNA was obtained from is just a polar bear, but an ancient species of polar bear. So it may mean there is a rather elusive branch of polar bears out there instead of an "abominable snowman."

New Book Reveals 'Lost Island of Atlantis' --I've been saying Atlantis was in the Mediterranean for a while now. I think the Atlanteans were the Minoans. I assumed the disaster Plato spoke of occurred when Santorini erupted though, not when the waters rose at the end of the last ice age. But I recall hearing a tale that Atlantis was once much larger than it was at the time of it's destruction...perhaps that is a reference to it existing before the waters rose at the last ice age? I wrote about the possibilities of civilizations existing before the Great Flood (or last Ice age) a few years ago here.

New book says government, not aliens, were behind Dulce cattle mutilations, UFO sightings --So even if the government was behind cattle mutilations, why wouldn't they just get their own cattle and do it on their own land? Why do it secretly and then let ranchers find them? It just doesn't make much sense to me.
Medical Mystery: Man Sheds Tears of Blood --I remember watching a documentary a few years back about a girl in India (if I remember correctly) that bled from her eyes. The expert they brought in to investigate was skeptical though, and though her and her mother were faking it, though he couldn't prove it. I don't think the blood came out of her eye glands though, I think it just sort of came out of her skin pores around her eyes (allegedly), which is why the doctor was skeptical that it was legit. This guy lives in Tennessee though, and apparently, though the condition is rare, some of the other people known to have the condition are from Tennessee as well.
